Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Vivid Innovative Productions LLC ("we", "us") handles information in connection with VIP Creative Studio (the "Service"). We designed the Service to keep your creative work on your own device by default.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email, and password (stored only as a salted hash).
• Billing information: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
• Subscription and license data: the plan you hold and what it entitles you to.
• Optional cloud content: if you enable cloud project sync, the projects you choose to sync.
• Anonymous website statistics: which pages on this website were viewed, and the name of the website that linked you here. This is described in full below.

Website statistics

We count page views on this website so we know which pages are useful. It is measured by us, on our own servers. No third-party analytics service is involved, and nothing is shared with advertisers.

We do not use tracking cookies for this. Your browser is given a random number that it keeps only until you close the tab, and it is then gone for good. That number is not linked to your account, so these statistics cannot tell us that a particular person visited a particular page.

We record only: which of our own pages was viewed, the hostname of the site that referred you (for example google.com, never the full address or any search terms), and the time. We do not record your IP address, your device or browser details, or any advertising identifier. Web addresses are stored without their query strings, so nothing sensitive that may appear in a link is kept.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not count your visit at all. These records are deleted automatically after 90 days.

What we do not collect

The desktop application works locally. We do not collect telemetry on your editing, and the built-in assistant runs on your device. Your projects are not uploaded unless you turn on cloud sync. We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics, cross-site cookies, or device fingerprinting anywhere on this website or in the application.

How we use information

• To provide and secure the Service and your account.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To provide support and send essential service messages.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as our payment processor and hosting provider), and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and security

We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes. We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, though no system is perfectly secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise them.
